When making a File Import, (permissions)

there is an Information line written for EVERY line:

Projection calculation disabled; no projections calculated for contact 0016...

So when uploading 2700 rows, there are 2700 lines with that message in the log.

Two of the 2700 entries gave an error. So I need to scroll through all of those information messages to find back the two lines in error...

Is there any way to turn off that projection calculation info message? What does it even mean, what is projection calculation?

Update for clarification: those messages appear on the Import Monitor

Do you have any info on what those projections actually are? Tobias mentioned it's also a new object on the contact API that is not for productive use yet, but what is it meant for?

Hi Joyca,

as far as I know those projections are used in future for the more complex B2B data model when you want to be able to have nxm relationships.

where do you see that information? In Import Monitor or Application Log?

I only saw that for the new API_MKT_CONTACT_SRV (v0004) there is a "Projections" entity which (according to the "Whats New"-document) is not yet available for productive use.

But I don't know if it has something to do with that or what it is.... Maybe someone from SAP can clarify.

Hi, forgot to mention indeed, it's on the Import Monitor that I see those messages.

Also, it was on the production system, so still on version 2002.

And apparently we can edit comments, but not the initial question description on Community 😞
