Interactions section in Lead

1) In tickets screen, there is a section with name Interactions using which we can send SMS / E-Mail to the customer

2) When the user wants to send an E-Mail / SMS to a lead (before getting converted to a prospect / Opportunity), there is no option for the same.

3) I have explored several blogs and help documents but could not find anything helpful.
