Send Vendor master data from Ariba to S4 and Vice Versa using CIG

Hi,

I have a requirement to send vendor/supplier master data from Ariba SLP to S4 system using CIG and vice versa.

Can i please get detailed steps that need to be done.

Hi Mayank,

are you asking about P-user and password? If yes then below are the details.

If you are new user then you have to do data sync from S4 to CIG with valid email Id. On valid email Id you will get P-user and initial password which you have to change. once you are done with activation of your P-user ( after changing password), you need to configure SOAMANAGER in ERP with that P-userID and password. All this details we have mention in CIG guide.

Hi,

From where do we get Proxy host and proxy service that need to entered while creating configurations for web service.

HTTP Proxy Options:

Proxy Host for Ariba Network integration: proxy.ariba.com (for example).

Proxy Service: 8080 (for example).

You are looking for SLP execution not for master data. Following steps which you have mentioned is for master data program “ARBCIG_MASTER_DATA_EXPORT” not for SLP.

IDOC and PORT is not mandatory to config but logical port you have to mention in technical system configuration.

1. Enable the business functions for MDG.

2. Set up the customer-vendor integration.

Or we need to do to perform following activities also to configure common master data setting:

Hi Mayank,

you have to config SLP realm with CIG with sender and receiver system. In S4/ERP system need to config for sender business system and receiver business system. For cIg you have to do data sync from S4 system to CIG to create project. you can find more details on following link.

For Supplier data , do we need to add destinations for IDOC ,, PORT ,, Logical system etc as part of global settings
