BAPI for, BI process chain failures to captures as ServiceNow incident and send us the number

HI Folks,

we have requirement to automate process chain monitoring.

For any process chain failures. we need ticketing tool "ServiceNow" to capture the failure, create incident and send back us the incident number in mail.

We are using sap 7.5 and ServiceNow. Could you please share your BAPI if you have already used in your project.

If i get the code, would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Anitha Duraisamy

AFAIK there is no out of the box BAPI to create ServiceNow tickets. BAPIs are functions that allow for creation of documents and entities in SAP, not in a 3rd party systems.

However, there are plenty of ready to use ServiceNow solutions, starting from SAP Connectors and ending with third party add-ons. Just search for them on the internet.

You can also write your own logic based on the ServiceNow REST API. It's not complicated.

    Hi Mateusz,

    Thanks for your reply.

ServiceNow is a third party tool, i need to create a BAPI program which can read the failures or any changes happens in the chain from standard BW table and create incident SNOW automatically by filling mandatory information. Then send us the ticket number in mail.

    sure, i will try writing.
