Hello.
I'm trying to automate something in SAP (with RPA) and when we are talking about the kind of access needed to automate something that requires write and read access, the technical team sent me this:
RPA Developers FUNCTIONAL ALL for systems EQA client #XXX, EDV client #XXX, TMD client #XXX, and TMQ client #XXX,
As I really don't know anything about sap, what exactly does that mean? the access for those clients? are those clients default names or they change depends on the environment?, what is that kind of access?
From the RPA point of view we need the exact same access as a end user will need, the technology is not invasive and wouldn't requiere any other form of access that a normal person that does the manual process will need.
Or are they just talking about the environments?
for example Environment QA, Environment Developer, and the others are other form of environments?
and the access is the functional all?
Sorry I only have that information that I could give, is something that we can know with those names or is something that it depends on the infrastructure and they can change?
and other question, if we are talking about environment is possible to move old prod data to those developer and qa environments, to have data where we can starting developing the automation?
So basically I just want to know if its possible to know what they mean by:
EQA, EDV, TMD and TMQ
Functional ALL
Or if it doesn't mean anything because it may just reference to a client/table/environment?
Sorry for the dumb question, I was just curious about this information.
