SAP Business Application Studio - GIT Config

Hi Experts,

We are trying to use SAP Business Application Studio Licensed version for our developments based on CAP Model. We are having below issues -

1. Integration with GIT - We are not finding any provision to set the Git Repository for new project we create. Like WebIDE , there is no provision to assign GIT repository URL. Is there any documentation available on this ?

2. Welcome File - When we launch Business Application Studio for the first time, it gives welcome file from where we can create template projects however, when we close this file, its difficult to open it again and not sure how to create new CAP projects now.

Can you please help us here ?

Thanks ,

Mahesh Z.

    Hi mahesh zeple ,

For both questions you can use the command pallete: View > Find Command (or F1 keyboard shortcut).

For the welcome page, simply type "welcome" and the command will be filtered.

For git, simply type "git" and a list of git commands will be filtered. Git clone is one of the commands, and you can further filter to locate it. In addition, once the welcome page is available, there's a short to git clone in it.

    Regards - Raz

I would suggest that you join the OpenSAP Course: Building Applications with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) where you hopefully a lot of answers.
