SAP IBP Time profile attributes are not visible in Excel attribute selection

Hello Experts,

I am trying to add two new attributes which will provide me the information in excel that,

1. Attribute name: WEEKSDATE (Time Stamp)

It should give me information that W01 2020 starts with '06-Jan 2020'.

I can change it directly into "Period Description' but wish to keep both information for period1 i.e weeks

2. Attribute name: WKENDDATE(NAVCHAR)

W52 2020 is the X-mas week

I have created two new attributes in the Time Profile, downloaded the template where I can see the newly added attributes. and uploaded the relevant data in new attributes using the data integration job successfully.

But I can select these attributes in 'edit view' --> Attribute selection. I can see the standard attributes like 'Technical weeks weight factors'

, 'week within quarter' etc

You need to add the attribute to the Planning Levels, along with having it assigned to the time profile. In the screenshot below - I added the 'ZSTARTDATE' to the planning levels as shown in the planning levels config.

Let me know if that helps,

Dan

Hi Vaibhav,

You won't be able to see those Time Profile Attribute value in KF as that attribute is created as Time Stamp or NAVCHAR. Change it to Integer and it will show up in Excel, but that won't solve your purpose. Instead what you can do is flag start and end day of the week as 1 in Time Profile and use that in your planning view (not sure if that will solve your purpose).

Hi Dan,

I assigned a new attribute to 73 planning levels where my Key figured are linked. Activated planing area successfully. Load the data in the Time profile again

I still can't see it in the excel. However, in Excel EPM formatting, I can see the data I uploaded. Do you think its EPM formatting issue?

I can see the data in the standard time attributes called "WEEKWEIGHT". New attributes are created exactly the same as "WEEKWEIGHT"

Still testing, lets see if gets lucky next time:)

Cheers
