Hi,
SAC standard is to use an organizational dimension (e.g. company code) which holds the corresponding currency.
In our case we the planning per company should be possible in different currencies.
E.g. Germany plans revenue in EUR, but also in USD and CHF. The foreign currency (USD, CHF) could not be uniquely related to any other dimension of the SAC planning model (e.g. cost center, sold-to-party, ...).
In this case the best solution seems to create a separate currency dimension which has the corresponding currency attribute for the currency conversion.
As I´ve heard there are some restrictions in SAC and cautions when using this approach.
Does anyone know what these restrictions are in detail?
Regards, Thomas
