Hi When trying to run Master Data Cleanup Wizard I receive an error message stating that a user is connected to the data base. The user is me. I have also disabled all add ons, but still does not work.

Hi Michael,

Please check the following:

  • Do you have a second client open? The sledgehammer solution here is to simply reboot your PC, and open the client only once.
  • Do you have the Data Transfer Workbench open? Close it.
  • Do you have the MS SQL Server Management Studio open? Close it.
  • Is there any other software running anywhere that connects to your B1 company database (a backup process, B1iF, DI Server, etc.)?

If all else fails, restart the server, and right away after it has booted up, run the client on the server when you try out the Masterdata Cleanup Wizard.

Regards,

Johan
