How to Obtain SAP S/4HANA On-Premise Image for Trial?

Hi!

At the end of this document https://www.sap.com/cmp/oth/crm-s4hana/s4hana-on-premise-trial.html?pdf-asset=4276422b-487d-0010-87a... it says:

"Want to deploy the trial in your own data center ? ▪ See SAP Note 2041140 how to obtain the system image via download or Blu - Ray disk"

The link to 2041140 does not lead me to a corresponding page. How do I obtain the system image then?

I contacted support and they can't give me access. I have a P-User and only S-Users can see that page. S-Users need a support/maintenance contract. Quoting the response:

"I understand you are trying to access a particular SAP note so I would recommend explaining to our experts on the Community page that it is in fact a trial product that you are using and that you do not have an S-User ID to access the given SAP note. They may be able to present you with the note in a different format which does not require permissions."

Any chance this can be done?

Hi Joerg,

when following the link, I see this error message for a split second:

HTTP request failed, 403, Forbidden No authorization to access Service '/SVT/SNO_GWS_NNF_SRV_0001'

Then I am forwarded to a generic page. So I guess it's related to my P-User. I contacted support if they can help me out.

Hi Ingo,

SAP Note 2041140 actually explains how to get the S/4HANA Fully-Activated Appliance for on-prem deployment (you need to open an incident with SAP).

Hi Ingo - your best bet for an on premise trial is to use the SAP Cloud Appliance Library at cal.sap.com

This is what I use (and I am not that technical)

You only pay provider fees/usage - e.g. AWS, Microsoft or Google.
