Excel as Parameter list in Inventor with SAPPLM ribbon

Hi,

Normal behaviour in Inventor with parameters is that you can Link to an external file XLS(X) in the parameters normally this works just fine.

But in ECTR this action ends up with al list of custom iProperties in the Parameter list

Can you tell us what to do to make this possible?

Thanks for the info!
There was a hidden sheet called DOCPROPERTIES. This is strange as I used the template to create a CPA file. I think this should be changed in next version?

The error is not displayed anymore after placing sheet1 in front of the DOCPROPERTIES tab.

But now I have another issue:

But I think I have seen such option in default.txt under applications\inv:

plm.document.addcomponent.allowed.dTypeList.INV

After adding the CPA dtype in the line this worked.

Hi Danny,

usually this should work OOTB, with correct XLS(X) file. It seems you selected an Inventor (ipt/iam) file?
If it is not working with a correct XLS(X) file, please open a SAP incident.

Hi Danny,

could you please check if there is a hidden sheet?

After unhide it looks like:

Move the Sheet1 to position one with the Inventor parameters .
Now it should work as expected.
