How to use the different BOM version (alternative) in the father BOM

Hi All,

Can we specify the different BOM versions in the father level in SAP?

Please see the picture which from our old ERP system that we did this. And how can we realize in SAP?

DO you some suggestions, thanks a lot.

You can use BOM application (PP01, SD01 etc) keys to define sequence of alternative to select where there are more then one BOM available. But BOM application will be applicable to all sun assemblies.

second option is production version, please assign correct production version to your sub-assembly so the correct BOM will be selected.

Yes, these methods can help us to use the alternative BOMs in father level, so I close this case, because it works for this question.

But for the actual request, I think this is not ok. So I open a new one with specific reqeust.
