Greetings

Has anyone managed to Retract data from BPC10/10.1 NW to ECC? We have this requirement and I have only seen a How to document for BPC7.5. (https://archive.sap.com/documents/docs/DOC-4229)

The document has a prerequisite for importing an attached transport request but this link seems corrupted it is a very old document.

Kindly assist with steps to do this for BPC10.1

Many thanks

Jordan

The document is not corrupted, just save attachments with proper file extensions!

First one - with zip extension...

Second - doc

You will find everything inside...

But I prefer to use custom logic badi instead of export to badi...

Hi Vadim

Thanks for your response. When I click on the first document its downloading a text document. Please assist on how I should save it.

Sorry, but I have already told - first file need to have zip extension! You can rename it after saving to Retract.zip

Thank you Vadim

I have managed to save to zip. There are 2 .EPM files. Are these the transport files? Do I import both of these .EPM files?

It's better to open the second attachment - also rename it to zip. In zip you will see badi text as word document. Look on the code - it's very short and trivial. You can create badi yourself without importing transports...

But I still recommend to think about custom logic badi instead!
