Multiple controlling area for a company code.

Hi SAP enthusiasts,
Is it possible to assign multiple 'Controlling area' to a single 'Company code'?

If yes, what are the scenarios for this configuration?

Hi Yogesh,

The relationship between the Controlling Area and the Company Code is 1:n not of n:1.

To assign Multiple Company Codes to the same controlling area, the fiscal year variant and the Chart of Accounts should be same in both the company codes. This supports in the cross company codes CO transactions. Further you may refer to SAP Note: 107293 for further guidance on the multiple company codes assigned to one Controlling Area.
