IBP Multi Language

with 2005 the new features "multi language" start.

Give it a template-upload file and if yes, where I can upload this ?

In the Multilanguage Support app you first set all languages you need, including to set the default language. Then you can download the translations in CSV format , adjust the translation for your languages and upload again.

Hi Oliver,

Multi language support provides the translations for Attributes and key figures. If you create your planning area by copying sample planning areas, automatically the translations will get copied if the multi language support is activated.

As per my understanding, the applications will help you to translate when you define the customer specific attributes and key figures which are not part of the sample planning area.

at the meanwhile, the system has some enhancements and it looks like, that the system translate key figures and attibutes.

But my question is always open. Why I need the multilanguage tile

Supplement:

I have not activate the multi-language features. But I see in our System now, that the keyfigure and attributes translate. this effect I have in excel and in the web ui. It is working for german, english, france, spain. perhaps also in other language. But why I need this multi language app ? the system translate automatically.

is it necessary, if I have my "own translation" ? This mean, customer -specific wording?
