Scannable Barcodes

I I am new to SAP I am trying to create barcodes that my employees can use to navigate through our new WMS EWM but I'm running into issues when I create a tab barcode the cursor moves to the next line but then goes back to the beginning as if a enter key has been hit is there a format that can just move the cursor key to the next input field without hitting the return
