Greetings all,

Sap Lama appliance on Azure fails on software activation .

The Appliance Agent detected an error and terminated.

When asked, please provide the file /tmp/applianceagent_20200430-012050.tar.bz2.

Note that a restrictive iptables based firewall is still active.

On the SAP cloud appliance library

The following error displays

The software provisioning process has failed on one or more virtual machines. For more information, see the Virtual Machines section in the instance details. If there are problems with the software, please terminate this instance and try to create another one.

And I retried to deploy it and still fails with the same error.

Hi,

We have noticed that your instance creation failed and after investigation of your problem we have found a solution for you. The problem consists of giving a password that is not compatible with the software that your are deploying. Try using a password that doesn’t contain the words – sap, sapsa or sa.
