RPA Job Issue from Cloud Cockpit

Desktop Agent version:

I am schduling RPA job from RPA factory via Cloud. Below is my observation. Not sure how to overcome.

If i schdule 2 Jobs (10 Min Frequency between each), First job is completeting successfully where as second one is failed. As per my understanding, it is failing since agent is running in background which prevents second jobs to be successful. Because if i kill agent and re sceduling it works fine.

And one more issues is that, if i schedule a job from cloud cockpit, i have to literally invoke the desktop agent manually in order to run. In other case if i open agent before schduling jobs, it shows status 'Idle' and job is not running. Apparently we have to invoke the agent manually in order to run. More over agent becomes 'Ready' after system go past schedule 'X' time, until then Agent is 'Connected' and in 'Idle' status.

There fore not sure how to schdule Jobs and ensure job runs without manual intervention and run consecutively . Should agent should be running all the item while we have scheduled jobs in line? If so, will that not impact system performance? Reason is that if i open any system from SAP GUI manually, it says " GUI scripting is running ".

    Hi Chandru,

as you know there are to modes to execute a bot: attended and unattended. If you start the bot directly from the Agent you are in the attended mode, starting from factory is the unattended mode. If you want to use bots in unattended mode you need a Agent to execute this jobs in the mode unattended.

Here you can see how to switch:

Normally unattended bots run on virtual machines to secure the availability of the Agent. I hope this helps.
