Webinar integration with marketing cloud

Hello SAP Experts

We have a requirement to integrate the Webinar with Hybris Marketing cloud through CPI.

If i understand correctly , there are two different approaches to implement this integration , the first approach is “Open Connectors” and the other approach is Generic one with Marketing Events Data: , Please find below links for more details.

Could you please let me know the difference between these two approaches and the best option to be optimized ,considering the license procurement for Open Connectors as we already have CPI licence available in our organization

1. Integration with Go to Webinar using SAP Cloud Platform Open Connectors:

Hello Shwetha,

Both the approach uses SAP CPI as middleware. Below are the few points you can consider.

1) Please do a feasibility check whether you can directly communicate to GoTo Webinar system from SAP CPI ( using direct rest based approach ) and note down the pros&cons of the same.

2) If above is not supported as your customer already acquired license for Open Connectors its easy to perform integration with GoTo webinar where you have pros like easy connectivity ,it gives full clarity on list of APIs avaiable. Below blog of mine will give step by step guide.

Thank you so much for your kind response.

FYI, our customer has not yet acquired the license for Open Connectors, hence before acquiring we would like to know the pros and cons of the same.

Please suggest on the same.

Meanwhile, i will also try to do a feasibility study with the direct rest based approach with webinar
