    Hi Bert,

In the header data of the bid invitation, you can choose the type of follow-on document you want to create.

At the end of the bid invitation processing, you have to go to bid invitation change mode (bid tab) to be able to convert the bid invitation in a PO.

    to compare bids :

Once the opening date has been reached and you start to receive bids, you can view and compare them. You can do this by choosing icon " Bid Comparison" (bid tab of the bid invitation).

    Kind regards,

      Hi, Diego.

I'm using SRM 6.0 and the steps to create a PO from Bid Invitation are:

      1. Open the Bid Invitation

      2. Go to the 'Responses and Awards' (where bids are)

      3. Open the accepted Bid you intend to have a PO created

      4. Go to the 'Items' tab

      5. Find out there the button 'Create PO'.

You have to go through each Bid you want to have a PO created. First, the Bids have to be Accepted during the Responses Comparison.

      I hope this help you.

    Hi Yann

Allow me to intrude, but I have a related doubt. After I create a PO from the bid invitation, this PO is created locally on SRM right?

My requirement is to create the PO on the backend (ECC)then move it to SUS. Which are the steps to achieve this?

Thanks in advance for any help

    • Hi Bert,

You have to investigate why the PO created is in held status.

      Go to display your PO

      Go to change mode

Select check button to display system message

At this step, you should be able to know why your PO is in held status (data missing, data error...)

Besides, you can have a look in the application monitor (transaction RZ20) to check system message too.

      Kind regards,
