Hello Experts, We have a need to archive won and lost C4C opportunities aged more tham 180 days to reduce the volume of data for reports. What is best method to achive this? Can anybody share your expereinces and possible options here? Thanks!
You set the rules based on object and not on object and status - or any other attribute that might be relevant. So if you like to keep a part of them, like the WON and loose the LOST once you can not do this via archiving and use the data workbench in a creative way.
Ideally, you should make use of Data Workbench for deleting such opportunities. To do Export the Opportunities and mark them for deletion using data workbench. Note that prior to deleting the reference you need to delink all the existing documents like Sales Order or Survey etc etc. Please also refer: https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/public/en/2504207
