SAP SD pricing (VPRS error in Billing)

Hi, friends,

I'm quite new for SAP and running into a problem about the VPRS price condition in an item of a Billing document (Inv @Plant) From my observation, the VPRS error occurs after the GI process, which in this case consume all the material stock's unrestricted use. (Total value of stock goes to 0 after GI) Also, the material of mine has a 'V' price control (Moving Price).

I'm not quite sure that this problem occurs by the standard routine of SAP or not (due to my experience) could anyone here explain or provide some guild about the root cause of this pricing error.

Thank you,

Chartyotin

the VPRS error occurs after the GI process

What error system has triggered after invoicing? Please share more details like

  1. whether the moving average price is maintained in material master
  2. whether the value is flowing in sale order
  3. whether Costing Run is made for that material
  4. whether the Condition Category is set to G
  5. whether Routine 4 is assigned to VPRS in pricing procedure

Thank you so much for replying and sorry for the lack of info,

1. The moving average price has been maintained and normally there is no problem (after GR with PO, the moving price is calculated), except in this case when there is no stock left after GI.

2. The Condition Category is set to 'G' and the value is also flowing in sale order

3. I'm not sure about the costing run, but the Routine 4 is also being assigned.

4. I'm not sure that whether it's about the pricing procedure or not, but in the Item Condition detail, it is shown to be "X - Inactive via formulae of incorrect", but apart from that, it looked quite normal.

Hi Chartyotin,

1.Please check if the C.typ-VPRS is maintained in your pricing procedure(flowing into the sales order)in the Pricing procedure requirement routine : 4(cost)to be assigned

2.Please check if any transaction data available in the system for that particular material i.e.,any sales orders created in the system,As per my understanding if there is no transaction data available and for this material this is the first time you are creating an order then moving average price cannot be calculated by the system,

Please let us know the reason to maintain moving average price else change it to standard price and maintain values and ensure sufficient stocks in the storage location and then create a sales order and it will definitely calculate the cost,
