I googled this and found several articles but they are all 5 years or older.
Is anyone (effectively) using Business Objects to connect to Salesforce? or to Salesforce Big Objects?
So we successfully connected to regular Salesforce about a year ago, using Simba ODBC. But we just had one Salesforce table in the Universe, and we could run a basic WebI report, so technically it worked. But then everyone moved on. I still think it might be a good option for us now, as we still have Oracle which we need to report from. I figured we could have two data sources.
So does anyone do this effectively? I tried the BO Speaks (InfoSol) people, and they referred me to a 2012 article by Progress.
