Hi experts,
I'm newbie in scpi and as far as i know the address of the url in the http/odata receiver channel is used as fixed one
liked as http://xxxxxxxx.hana.ondemand.com.xxxxxx. If so, I think we need to repair the address according to the addresses in every iflows after transport from dev to test tenant. Can we avoid this problem?
Can we use the destination instead of "http://xxxxxxxx.hana.ondemand.com" in thethe address of the url in the http/odata receiver channel?
If you have any scenario, please kindly guide to me.
Best regards,
Nyein.
Hi Nyein,
For this purpose we have a concept of Externalization, using which you can assign a variable to any paramater of an Integration Flow and then configure that value using configuration view instead of editing and changing the hard coded values.
Kindly check out the following links:

Hi Sunny,
If the externalization is used, I think we need to update these parameters in the address of the channel of iflows if any changes (eg. odata url change).
My purpose is that we do not want to update the iflows. Instead of this we control these changes with the destinations.
If any changes, we need to update the url of the destination only.
Can we get this?
Best regards,
Nyein
Hello Nyein,
You can't substitute these values with your destination(I think you are referring to destinations created in cloud platform).
As Sunny already mentioned best approach is to externalize the channel parameters and configure it in each environment.
