How to setup the maintenance plan

this is the situation:

On 1 plan there are 2 different frequencies: a 2000 hour check and a 6000 hour check. At the moment of the 6000 hours, the 2000 hours needs to be carried out also (so no hierarchical setup is needed).

The 6000 hour check should not be influenced by the moment the 2000 hours checks are done.

The 6000 hour check should restart the 2000 hour.

Thank you for yuor advice

Hans

Hans,

Correct - the maintenance plan scheduling parameters apply to all maintenance items and all packages.

You have two options if you do not want to affect the 6000H package:

  1. Two separate maintenance plans
  2. Develop a solution via user-exit/BADI

thx for your time Peter.

but in this case, if the 2000H package is delayed and done at let's say 2200H and 4400H, will this influence the 6000H package?

This sound like you need a strategy based plan with 2 packages: 2000H and 6000H.

You then need to make sure that both of these packages have the same hieratchy in the stragegy.
