OData Offline with V4 Services

Hello community,

we are using the newest version of the SAP Mobile Platform SDK 3.2:

Now we are switching from OData V2 to OData V4 services and need to cosume those services offline.

The documentation is saying:

What does this mean, is V4 now supported or not? I am getting this error from that note from 2017. This note is saying that V4 is not supported but it is from 2017.

Is anybody using V4 services with offline sny?

It does not mater which version of the Mobile SDK is used:

• Hybrid Kapsel SDK
• Mobile Platform SDK for iOS
• Mobile Platform SDK for Android

Support for V4 providers is not supported yet for the offline framework. Speaking for the SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS, this is actively in testing, and is in the near term roadmap. I would expect similar on the CP SDK for Android side.

**EDIT**: there are no current plans to back port to the earlier generation SDKs (SMP 3.x, Kapsel).

SAP BTP SDKs for iOS/Android as well as MDK don't seem to gain much attraction compared to web frameworks (e.g. UI5). Is there still no plan to support offline OData V4 for (hybrid) web apps?
