Scenario could not be started

Hey there!

I'm trying to test a simple workflow with the debugger. So I press F5 to start debugging and the Desktop Debugger starts running, recognizes my application and pages, so far all fine. But when i click on the Desktop Agent symbol in the lower right corner and press Test 'nameOfMyWorkflow', I get the following messages in the debugger:

GLOBAL.SYSTRAY1:testWorkflow

Scenario 'nameOfMyWorkflow' could not be started

I thought it might have been sth wrong with my workflow, so i created a test workflow with just a simple delay where there cannot be anything wrong, but still getting that error message whatever workflow I'm trying to test...

I don't know if there is any connection, but the Desktop Agent icon in the lower right corner is grey when I'm trying to test and when I click on Info it says "Warning - Not connected."

Already thx for your help

Remo

Hi Remo,

the reason for your problem is the missing connection to the Factory. Please check the url in your desktop agent and check in the monitoring section of the factory if your agent is visible there.

Also I would recommend to upgrade your Desktop Studio and Agent to the latest version. You can download this version here: https://tools.eu1.hana.ondemand.com/#cloud

Peter
