Java mapping to call RFC lookup in it

Hi ,

Requirement is i need to call rfc lookup in java mapping to call BAPI "BAPI_COMAPNY_GETDETAIL"

Input parameter is CompanyID and in result we need 3 output RCOM (company), NAME1, CURR.

Can anyone provide me the java code for it?

It will be very helpful

Why dont use the standard RFC lookup provided in mapping

thanks for your input. but its client requirement.

They want me to do this by Java mapping.

So pleaase help me that if its possible.

Hello Raghu,

I am not good in java and tried this in java mapping but i couldn't figure out.

Its giving me error in NWDS.

i belive java mapping has different format than this.

correct me if i am wrong. lease provide me solution if u have.

Siddharth,

First of all check with client why they are proposing java mapping when SAP does give standard functionality for this ?

If you still want o go via java code then as mention by raghu u can use the code in udf no need to create a separate java mapping for this embed this code in your message mapping.

If you want the code specific to your requirement please provide the RFC name's , Structure , Inputs to be given and the output.

Hi Manoj,

Please follow below details:

BAPI name :( Its a standard u can find it in r3)

BAPI_COMAPNY_GETDETAIL

Structure:

Post the code u have used?

And also as Manoj suggested check why thy need JAva code when we have a standard RFC lookup in PI
