Hi SAP Gurus,

Basically I'm a Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of industrial experience in home appliance manufacturing with end user experience in Material Master Data maintenance, BOM creation, Routing, Production yield confirmation, movement types, plan creation etc.. And also I have an overall idea of "How a material is brought into a plant, how it is stored in stock, how it is planned, how it is produced & dispatched".

Now I'm planning to move as a SAP PP consultant, so what are the prerequisite & what are the things still need to know ?

What are the study material to move to consultant level ?

Looking forward for your kind suggestions.

I see you have skills as SAP PP end user and want to move up the scale.
As far as the prerequisites are concerned there aren't any officially other than experience. You have experience in one particular industry, what you need to do is diversify your experience like steel industry, pharma industry, automotive industry etc. Second if you get the opportunity to work on an end to end life-cycle implementation, go for it! Even if you have to work as an intern over there.

You can also go for Certification for SAP PP - go to the link below. There you'll also see the Manuals that you have to go through for preparation.
