Automating ST-PI/ST A/PI Update Process (Mass Update)

Dear SAP Experts,

is there a way to automate the update for the components ST-PI / ST A-PI? I think maybe in the direction of an API for SPAM / SAINT.

Or an OS scripting option for TP / R3Trans?

As a service provider we are monitoring a lot of systems with Solman TechMon and the manual update process of these addons are very time consuming when doing it for many many systems.

Hi Dominik,

not as far as I know. Sorry. This is manual activity.
This would require a central directory where you put the package into and then a job or similar to start the update (similar to the automatic Host Agent update procedure).

We are in a similar situation and looking for options to automate this process as we have multiple systems.

Is there any way to update these patches from the OS level instead of using SPAM/SAINT? or can these patches be applied in someway from solution manager ?
