Impact of costing on STO (FG material with standard price to Trading material with moving average)

HI co Experts,

My client have 2 plant codes under one company code

1.manufacturing plant at one state

2.Central warehouse in another state : From Central warehouse material will be delivered to C&F agents

Finished Goods will transfer from manufacturing plant to Central ware house through STO .

material has been maintained with standard price in Mfg Plant (Being its Finished goods)

and the same material code has been maintained with moving average price in central warehouse plant (Being its Trading material over there)

Now costing will be executed in Mfg plant at every month end . and standard price will get updated from next month onwards and price difference will get posted in mfg plant only.

But our client want to impact price difference in central warehouse plant also.

I request you suggest how to make this impact on stock of central warehouse also

Note:we didn't implement Material Ledger (And also suggest is there any solution through ML if any)

Dear krishnareddysapfico, you have to make the below settings to make this happen for STO scenario!!! . 1.Check costing variant transfer control --> single plant / cross plant settings OKKN.. 2..Define special procurement type between sending and receiving plant (OMD9) 3. add the Special procurement key in MRP2 view (MM02). 4.check the cost estimate CK11N do the costing run and check the impact and let us know your finding :).

Hi Krishna,

There are two things needs clarification

1.are we maintaining the same price in two plants for finished material or is there any additive cost like transportation including for material price in central warehouse.

2. How we are maintaining price in central warehouse plant whether it manually or through cost estimate?

Regards
