Can you bring in a standard SAP report into SAP Analytics Cloud?

Hi,

We have some customised reports in SAP that we'd like to grab data from in SAC. Even being able to read the report into SAC how it is would be a plus.

Is that possible and if so, how would you do it, without recreating the report from base elements?

Many thanks for any advice.

Take care.

    Hi

As far as I know, It is not possible.

However, you can do as follows:

    1. The custom report - stores the output in the form of a Table. ( either append or refresh).

    2. Create a model on that table

    3. Display in Story/application in the Table form - connecting the datasource as that model.

    Regards,

    Venkat

Thanks Venkat but can you elaborate?

The report is just a SAP report. How do I make it store the output as a table?

    Thanks so much.

    Hi

Is it a standard SAP report or custom Z-report ?

In either case you need ABAP support to customize it.

Kindly provide me information about that report w.r.to what is that SAP report.

    Regards,

    Venkat

    Hi Venkat,

    It's a custom Z report.

Thanks so much for your help and advice on this.

The requirement has changed so I'm going to park this for a while.

Have a great day Venkat and stay safe.
