CRM WEBUI - Belize Theme: Uncaught Error: found in negative cache

during development for the WebUI i get the following error in the console:

Uncaught Error: found in negative cache: 'sap/ui/core/Core.js' from <unknown>/sap/ui/core/Core: TypeError: (intermediate value).getInterface is not a function

I already tried to delete/invalidate local/global/browser caches. I also tried some cache delete reports beginning with /ui2/ and /ui5/ etc. But the error message does not disappear. I tried different browsers.

We are running SAP CRM EHP4.

I hope you have some ideas how to solve this issue

kind regards

  • Hello, at first sight this console error looks that is not related to WebUI itself but to a UI5 application (at least I never caught this type of message on WebUI interface). Found in negative cache means that your browser already tried to download a resource earlier, failed (should be some entry in networking tab in red) and now is trying to download the same resource again.

Your question is missing some information and you should update it: What kind of development are you doing? It is really only WebUI or you are using a UI5 island to put an app inside, and that app is throwing this message? How Belize theme is related to this error(it is nowhere in this error snippet)? Are you developing a theme? Only happens when Belize theme is applied to WebUI?
