Work order header status error

Hello Experts,

I have a work order where the status bar has status REL but when we click on Information icon next to status bar it shows both CRTD and REL status. When checking WO in AUFK table only REL status is active.

Also the WO operations have two status CRTD and REL, due to which system is not allowing to book working hours against these operations

Ginni,

If SAP recommend this, then its the only way to resolve the issue.

You will need to convince "the business" that this is a valid solution, possibly by testing it in a copy of production, or a quality system that has the same order with the same issue.

You have two options then,

1. Open and OSS message to SAP to see what they recommend.
2. Assuming this is the only example.. Then get a programmer to delete the CRTD status from JEST - try this in a test system first.

Option 2 suggested by you, is also the response received from SAP to the OSS note raised

But since this involves doing changes to standard table, hence business will not allow in production

Other option could be to ask user, to mark the non-stock component as deleted, this will mark the corresponding PR as deleted. and for the one where PO exists, since there is no GR/IR done so we can mark the PO as deleted and subsequently delete the component

Due to dual status on operations CRTD and REL, there is no time booked against them, hence no costs involved

OK, so the CRTD status is the incorrect value.

I'm suprised that the RIORDST0/1/2 programs above dont work..

Is there any error or warning messages?

Hello Pete,

When we execute RIORDST0/1/2 for work order, we just get information "There are no orders found with missing status information". No errors or warning messages appear.

what is the value in AFIH-IPHAS for that order?

Were there are actual cost postings on the order (see Cost tab)?

Are there any error messages in the order?

If program RIORDST1 didnt work, then try RIORDST2.

I tried all three RIORDST0, RIORDST1, RIORDST2 and also ZPSF008B, none of these resolved the header system status issue

Error appears while GR, as shown in the screenshot attached

Also when checked in JEST, it shows both CRTD and REL active for work order

Ginni,

Are there any error messages? If so please post the full message text INCLUDING the message number.

Also, try running repair program RIORDST1 via SE38/SA38 with the Update on database flag OFF first to see if there are any issues with this order.

If there are, then remove the flag and re-run.
