Issue when Grouping Data in Planning View

Hi Experts

I am currently having an issue when I pull data into a Planning view with a certain Attribute as a grouping. The data pulled in is being used for calculations at a Request level. When pulling the data in on a product level grouping for example the Calculations work perfectly well and all the data is grouped under the product. The issue comes in when I try a group the data by Profit center, which is on a Product Location level. Majority of the Key Figures are pulled through grouped under the profit center but the Price key Figures fall under the group (none) and do not form part of the calculation. I have maintained the Planning level assignments of the Attribute (Profit Center) to ensure that all Planning levels of the key figures used in the view are assigned to the attribute. Furthermore the key figures Variable sales price and variable sales values live on the same level (Product-Location-Customer-Currency) but one falls within the Profit center Grouping and one does not. Is there a link that is missing between the Key figures and the Attribute or what could be the cause of the Key figure not being Grouped while others are.

Best Regards

Hi,

Make sure the following steps reviewed and if any deviations then adjust accordingly.

  • Review attributes at all relevant master data types.
  • Review the planning levels and attributes assignment.
  • Review the key figures and planning levels at the request level.
  • Review cost key figures data with currency values.
  • Make sure that all planning objects are generated for all combinations.
  • Make sure that all planning levels are base planning levels during the calculations if data aggregations and disaggregations at different planning levels then maintain the calculations accordingly.

Once all the above parameters reviewed to check the grouping at cost center levels all figures will update correctly.

Best Regards,
