Fiori Deployement

Hi,

Is it possible to deploy Fiori Hub Deployment in Development environment and Embedded Deployement in Quality Environment. What are the challenges will be occur ? Any one please guide me on this.

Why would you want to have that kind of a setup? If you are going for embedded deployment in the QA/PRD landscapes, why not have the same setup in the DEV environment also? One issue that I can immediately think of is - if you have central hub setup in DEV, you won't use LOCAL system alias for all your OData services; but in an embedded deployment scenario you will have to use the LOCAL system alias. So in this case, you cannot transport the OData activation from the DEV to QA landscape, you simply have to activate all OData services in the QA system.

I would suggest not to complicate things unnecessarily and just go for either central hub or embedded deployment in DEV-QA-PRD systems.

Actually, Existing Landscape for Fiori is Hub for both Dev and Prd, there is no QA enviroment. Now they want to setup QA environment in existing server, client dont want to setup new server for Fiori in QA. so they asked us to proceed with Embdedded Setup in QA and Hub setup will be continued in Dev and PRD.

Hello Sriram,

what your customer wants (mixed Gateway deployment between SAP environments) is not the SAP recommendation.

Just by telling him, i guess your customer will change his mind soon...

Or what you can do is to use the Dev Gateway Hub for Dev and Quality backends: with this option, you do not need a new Gateway server (Embedded or Hub)
