EPM_OverrideRange function for Dimension and Axis

I have been trying to use the both the EPMDimensionOverrideRange and EPMAxisOverrideRange functions with little success on multiple reports. They work great with a single report and being able to use a range, rather than listing out multiple members is so convenient! However, i can not seem to get either of these functions to work with multiple reports where the range on each report would be different. For example, in report 000 I want my ACCOUNT dimension members to be the values in cells A1:A10. For Report 001, i want my ACCOUNT dimension members to be the values in cells B1:10. Based on the SAP help guide and similar to how it works for the non range overrides, the syntax should be A1:A10|B1:B10. However, when doing this, neither report recognizes this and the ACCOUNT dimension is excluded all together in the report. If i try to use that directly in a formula, excel doesn't like it. If i create it a string, EPM doesn't recognize it. I even tried using the EPMCellRanges function to see if that might be what I'm missing. No luck there either.

I know that I could create a string listing out all of the members in that range and just use the regular override formulas, but it sure would be nice if I could get the ranges to work as intended.

Has anyone been able to get this to work? I am either missing something in my syntax, or this function really does not support multiple reports.

But why not to use 2 cells with 2 EPMDimensionOverrideRange formulas:
