ABAP ALV F4 on filtering option

Hi All,

I have created a report using ALV grid. The PF status is copied from the Standard PF status (STANDARD_LVC_FULLSCREEN). This gives filtering option too. When I select any column with numbers (integers or decimal fields), and press the filter option, I get a popup box. On pressing F4 help there, I get a message stating "The System cannot display possible entries here". I looked for online help but all in vain. Did not get a proper solution to this particular problem. Could someone help please.
