SOAP adapter to send content type "application/soap+ xml ; charset- utf8" to target

Hi Experts,

I have a proxy to soap sync integration scenario where the target system expects content type as "application/soap+ xml ; charset- utf8" and to achieve this in the SOAP receiver channel we are using Message Transform Bean and selecting “Do Not use SOAP Envelope” which in turn is removing the soap envelope from the outgoing message and we are getting HTTP 400 Bad Request error as the target system needs soap envelop.

Is there a way to send out message with soap envelope and content type application/soap+ xml ; charset- utf8?

Expected message at target:

http://tempuri.org/" xmlns:soapenv=" http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:ep41=" http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/EP4.Integration.Entities" xmlns:ep4=" http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/EP4.Integration.Entities.Common">
<soapenv:Header/>
<soapenv:Body>
<tem:PrintCertificateByContractNumber>
<tem:ContractNumber>300001</tem:ContractNumber>
<tem:Credentials>
<ep4:Password>xxxxxxxxxxx</ep4:Password>
<ep4:ResponseStatusList>
<ep41:ResponseStatus>
<ep41:ErrorMessage></ep41:ErrorMessage>
<ep41:ResponseType>Error</ep41:ResponseType>
</ep41:ResponseStatus>
</ep4:ResponseStatusList>
<ep4:UserName>uuuuuuuuuuu</ep4:UserName>
<ep4:UserReferenceNumber>1234567890</ep4:UserReferenceNumber>
</tem:Credentials>
</tem:PrintCertificateByContractNumber>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>

    Hi!

    And why don't you use SOAP Envelope?

    Hi Akash,

    How did you change the tags in the payload?is it a original message from Source or did you do any coding in pi?

    You would need to add XSL code in order to get the soap envlopes in the output.

    Regards,

    Bhaskar.

    Hi!

    In such case you could use XSL transformation to add SOAP Envelope to your message.

    • Hi!

      This option means that adapter won't add SOAP Envelope to message being processed (like it does, when the option is turned off).

      When you send request, you should add SOAP Envelope yourself. When you receive response message - you receive it with SOAP Envelope (adapter won't extract payload), so, in response mapping you should extract your payload using another XSL transformation.
