Moving from one tab to another tab in webi report taking too much of time

Hi All,

I have a report which has 7 tabs. after I run the report , when moving from one tab to another tab is taking too much of time to execute.

Please suggest what can be done to resolve this.

Might be this happening you have high volume in the report and heavy report formatting.

if this is happening in the developmenet phase then might be you can keep the report in structure mode and when required go to the data mode.

Hi Amit,

I am also facing this issue. To some extent your answer worked.

Lets suppose there are two tabs, in the first tab i switched to 'Structure only' mode and navigated to second tab. The second tab opened quickly but when i switched to 'With data' mode it takes time (it keeps on processing for a long time). Any other suggestions please.

One strange thing is tab having more then 3 thousand tabs opens quickly compared to tab having 1 thousand rows. Both have same table structure or similar logic (in short the second tab is a duplicate report of first tab which just a extra dimension column)
