¿How to transfer BPC planning data between two systems?

Hi all,

I am currently working on a migration project from BPC MS 7.5 to BPC NW 10.1. My local Basis team made a copy of the data from the production environment of the old BW system to the new one last November, so the data in the new system dates back to that date. However, during all this time we have been working on the migration project in the new system while the client has continued to perform its consolidation and planning tasks in the old system. This leads to the fact that both systems are currently out of date, as far as the consolidation process is concerned, I understand that the client can run again the loads that it has already done in the new system. However, they are not aware of the exact data they have entered in the planning inputs. Does anyone know an optimal way to transfer this data to the new system without affecting or overwriting the new data they have applied in the new system?

Thanks!

Regards

Sorry, but absolutely unclear! Very detailed description is required to understand your issue. And what do they need to transfer...

Hi Vadim,

They need to transfer the planning data that they have saved in the inputs in the old system from last November until now to the new system.

Thanks!

Still do not understand, what is the issue??

Export to text file data from the old system (with some AUDITTRAIL like input and required time period)

Import text file in the new system.

Thanks Vadim! Sorry I am newbie with BPC, Could I perform your solution exporting the data from the old BPC to a flat file running the DM package "Export transaction data" and import this flat file in the new BPC running the DM package "Import transaction data"?
