Hi,
We have implemented HANA optimised Business Content for PM area. Transformation contains formulas and field routines. Transport of transformation fails when trying to import formula. The formula is just a simple formula, and I am not sure what causes the issues. We have raised the issue with SAP, and they are currently looking at it.
Wanted to check with the community if any one of you have faced a similar issue. Appreciate your response.
Cheers,
Reddy
Hello everyone.
Could you explain if you got solved this issue? and how to get solved it? I am facing the same problem with a BW4HANA 2.0 sp07

Hi There, We had 2 issues with our failing imports, as analyzed by SAP Expert via an Expert On Demand OSS raised.
1) A bug in BWMT causes saving an inactive TRFN routine / AMDP class to an active TRFN (even loads go through fine!), if the user directly closes the routine window in BWMT (instead of first saving/activating the routine, then closing the window).
2) If you have TRFN which maps field-based ADSO to a staging ADSO, but with the multiple TRFNs for Data-source to field-based ADSO (due to multiple source systems), import of such TRFN will fail with errors for IOs of the kind 0SOURSYSTEM, 0LOG_SYS etc. Also, irrespective of the former case, even if your import has the 2 TRFNs (Data-source to field-based ADSO; field-based ADSO to a staging ADSO) in the same transport, then first time import will fail due to 0SOURSYSTEM issue, will need a re-import.
For both the above cases, we already raised a new SAP OSS for their product development team to review and rectify. Hope this help!
Hi everyone.
We finally have achieved solve this problem with next SAP note. https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2697440, although you can read in this note is for bw4hana 1.0 works in bw4hana 2.0 sp07
I hope is helpful.
Kind Regards,
Hi Raghu, How could you resolve your issue finally? Please also confirm your BW/4H 2.0 SP you were/are on, when you faced these issues. We are facing similar issues too. Based on SNOTE recommendations, we upgraded to SP07 (from SP01) for BW/4 2.0, which resolved the formula related errors, but the transformation import is still failing due to missing routines. These routines are still not reflecting in the imported transformations (only shows "RESULT=.", hence syntax error) . It is a very strange behavior, and we are also in touch with SAP. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi thomas-sauer1, so looks like it is indeed a product issue with BW/4H! We have a P1 OSS raised with SAP, and what they found is even more surprising - the TRFN returns error during a check on the Eclipse BWMT, with the routine missing, whereas if you go via the RSTRANGUI txn, the TRFN is just fine and the routine exists! So SAP is still looking. Welcome your analysis too. Regards.
Hard to predict the Problem, as no Details are available and I don't have a Glass Bowl to anticipate the Problem from here.
As soon you add the System Details and the SP Level/Correction you might get an Answer, but then you can also open a CSN Message.
Best Regards Roland

Try to check transformation with program RSTRAN_ROUT_RSFO_CHECK in source system before add it to transport request:
