What is the difference between ADSO reporting view and External View generated?

Hello gurus,

System status: BW on HANA 7.5.

I am new to BW on HANA. We are in need of developing a calculation view on top of ADSOs(These ADSOs are directly fed through SLT from ECC). some of these ADSOs have been marked for External Hana View Generation. So, Is it better to use these generated HANA views in our Calculation views or Active data tables/Reporting views(/bic/Axxx7) which has been generated for ADSOs? What are the advantages and disadvantages with each of them?

Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi K G,

I would like to tell you one thing, before asking question ,please search that keywords on SCN,Incase not availability of answers raise question.

ADSO's view are internal artifacts and we it's not public interface.
