Icon Tab Bar count not showing

I'm trying to bind the item count in my icon tab bar from records coming from OData.

Currently, I've tried to code below where in I was able to determine where the number of records is found 'odata.results.length'. but i don't know how to use it and bind it to the icon tab bar count
