Co-products vs Separate POs

Hello,

I am looking into implementing the use of co products into our manufacturing since we have products that will have similar groupings. Currently, we drop individual production orders for each material of the day. Is there are benefit to combining similar products as co products of the main PO for the day? Or is this just more complicated than producing all the similar products to separate production orders? Trying to understand the benefits of the co products functions
