Restrict number of max times an email can be used in a form submission

Is there a way to restrict an email address to participate and be submitted in a landing page form ?

eg. Given a participant could raise his chances to win during a campaign by submitting 30 times on a landing page, how can we restrict an email address to participate a certain amount of times?

If there is no standard feature in Marketing Cloud, how could we solve that alternatively?

    Hi,

As per my knowledge, you can only control if contact can submit once or as many times as they want. There is no mechanism to limit the number of submission per contact from standard form functionality, say a user is allowed to submit 2 times or 3 times.

In order to make sure a user is able to submit their form only once you can configure email as the origin "For Identification" which will make sure that if the same user is registering with the same email again then his or her contact is merged with the previously created contact(s).

Or you also utilise badi "Find Contact Using Form Input" to find out the correct contact but even here you wont be able to control if contact can submit the form only a certain amount of times

Thanks for the reply. Email is already configured as "For Identification".
I guess you meant we should set EMAIL to "one per contact", right?

Unfortunately thats not in our interest. We need to be able to have customers use more than 1 email address if they feel like it.
