Adding Alternate modes directly in APO PPDS PDS without Work center class in ECC

Hi Expert,

Need your suggestion.

We have a Business requirement, where business don't want to do any additional work in ECC side by creating or assigning Work center Class in work center and also in Routing.

Is there any way to add the Alternate modes directly in APO PPDS PDS, without effecting Scheduling process in PPDS. If not let me know the best option on the same.

Hello,

In routing you can use the alternative sequence for that.

Also you can use Badi CUSLNTRTO_ADDIN. method CHANGE_OPERATION

Or you can use alternative production version too please refer SAP note 2106976 - Alternative production version as alternative mode in PDS

SAP note 2106976 - Alternative production version as alternative mode in PDS refers to an SAP SCM Consulting Note. Is this valid for S/4 HANA ePPDS and does it include the corresponding planned order / production order CIF mapping as well?

if I have two production versions: version 1 with primary source, version 2 with secondary source; Can those two version combine into one PDS?

When transfer those two versions, there are two PDS in PPDS; how to set those two version as alternative mode?
