What exactly is the meaning of the sap-perf-fesrec parameter?
My understanding is that this is the time it takes SAP itself to execute the requested operation.
Is that understanding correct? If so, what is included and what is excluded (CPU time, DB time, network time, ...)?
Hi Peter - I found this in the SAP Help: https://help.sap.com/doc/saphelp_uiaddon20/2.05/en-US/b2/825eabd7bb43d79b475fee4194c609/content.htm?...
"network Time" : "Average latency of the requests that occurred during the interaction, calculated using the sap-perf-fesrec header that is sent (if available) by the back end with each response (in ms)"

Hi Tammy,
Yes, I also found that but it still doesn't really say what sap-perf-fesrec means. It just says that you can use it to calculate the network time which is why I think it expresses the time it takes SAP itself to process the request and therefore you can subtract it from your total round trip time to find the network time.
