Rescheduling for sales orders with S4 HANA 1809

Hello Experts,

We want to use rescheduling program V_V2 to reschedule the sales orders as per business requirement. We are using S4 HANA 1809 with AATP activated to use functions such as Product allocation.

As per SAP note "2642047 - Restriction Note for advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) in SAP S/4HANA 1809" transactions such as V_V2 and V_RA not valid anymore. At the same time it is not mentioned that what alternative app/transaction in S4 can be used for rescheduling orders. I tried searching for alternatives but didn't find anything and no posts/blogs are available for the same. So looking for answer if anyone has already done or is using rescheduling in S4 1809 version

Hi User,

Rescheduling in the S/4HANA system does not support the product allocation check.

A check with product allocation is only possible in the SCM system. A material that is checked in the SCM system is excluded from scheduling in the S/4HANA system.

For these materials, you should use backorder processing in the SCM system, which also supports the product allocation check.

For backorder process, you can use the Fiori App "Sales order items-Backorders". In this app you can perform back order processing.

I have no access to a S/4HANA system at teh moment, but aren't you supposed to use the Fiori apps for backorder processing, like configure BOP segment, configure BOP variant, schedule BOP run, monitor BOP run?
