Hello Experts,
Can you please advice how can I prevent association of specific objetcs into transport of request? There are some internal critical objetcs that I would like to prevent my internal developers team associate it into Transport of Request.
Looking forward for your help.
Thanks a lot in advance
Hi - I like Peter's answer here: https://answers.sap.com/questions/5483150/critical-objects-in-transport-requests.html
He says: "SAP provide only this solution>
At sm30 you can mantain content of the table TMSTCRI and put all critical object,
but it will not prevent to import them to production.
or
STMS -> Import Overview -> menu "Extras", Critical transport objects
Import must be handle only by authorized person and this is handle through the authorization concept."
Good luck

Hi Warlie,
I understand you are trying to avoid saving of critical object into TR but this charm check will only stop transporting them. You can create your own custom 'check before save', please check if that link helps you on this: https://help.sap.com/viewer/8b923a2175be4939816f0981b73856c7/7.2.10/en-US/03e865571edd0522e10000000a...
For unintentional approve: as approval authorization for critical objects is role based, you can assign it to only change/quality manager. This way only change/quality manager will be allowed to approve it and no one else.

Hi Gopal,
Yes, we're using Ctitical Objects, but even so someone can approve it. But we're trying, for some type of objects, some way to avoid developer team add this objects into transport of request.
This way we're expecting avoid someone approve it unintentionally.
Best Regards,
Warlei

Hi Warlei,
If you are using Charm then you can define the list of object as critical objects in Admin Cockpit.
This will stop anyone to make changes into those object. It can only be done after proper approval.
